Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Kalib Henry has been immersed in racing for nearly his entire life. He began competing at the age of seven, first piloting Outlaw Karts before advancing into Micro Sprints, Midgets, and ultimately Sprint Cars. Following the path of his father, three-time Sprint Car Champion, Mike Henry, Kalib’s foundation in motorsports was built on a passion for competition, discipline, and a relentless drive to win.
From the moment he first strapped into a race car, Henry demonstrated an instinctive feel for speed and racecraft. By his teenage years, he had already collected victories, and podium finishes across multiple divisions, steadily progressing toward the pinnacle of grassroots open-wheel racing — 410 cubic inch winged Sprint Cars.
Since 2019, Kalib has committed himself to a full-time 410 Sprint Car career. Known for his consistency, determination, and technical knowledge, he participates in more than 40 races annually. Henry plays a hands-on role in maintaining and preparing his own equipment, taking pride in his technical expertise.
Today, Kalib competes with the All Star Circuit of Champions while racing for Jim Muth in the No. 101 410 sprint car, with Andy Potter serving as crew chief. The team operates out of a Fremont, Ohio.
