Inside the Numbers: Previewing Kalib Henry's 2026 All Star Season
Share
FREMONT, Ohio (May 7, 2026) - The season opener for the All Star Circuit of Champions at Attica Raceway Park has come and gone. The rain shortened weekend kickstarted what will be a 33-race schedule at 18 tracks across five different states: Indiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Over $1,000,000 in prize money will be on the line, Sacramento's Kalib Henry will be looking to defend his 2025 Driver's Championship while improving on a 2025 season that saw the 26-year-old take home four victories, 13 top fives, and 18 top tens. Keep following along as we dive into the numbers for each and every track on the 2026 calendar.
Attica Raceway Park - 4/10, 4/11, 6/12, & 9/4
The opening weekend will mark Henry's 166th and 167th career 410 appearance, with 20 coming at the 1/3-mile Ohio track. This trails just Silver Dollar Speedway and Fremont Speedway with 38 and 27 appearances, respectively. In those 20 appearances at "Ohio's Finest Racing" facility, Henry has made the A-Main 18 times, capturing a lone victory on July 24, 2024, against AFCS competition. In his two prior All Star appearances at Attica, Henry brought home a 10th and 12th place finish. The key to success? Qualifying in the top five, an accomplishment Henry has accomplished just under 50% of the time, where Henry boasts an average feature finish of 6.8 compared to 11.6 when outside of that mark*.
*Editor's Note: Attica's preview was written prior to the completion of the April 11th weekend. Kalib qualified 7th in his group and finished 11th in the feature.
Atomic Speedway - 4/18 & 6/20
The series makes two trips to Chillicothe's Atomic Speedway, equal to amount of appearances Henry has at the high-banked southern Ohio oval. In those prior two appearances, Henry took home a runner-up finish with FAST on Dirt in 2024 and a ninth-place finish during last year's Ohio Speedweek. The key to success? Finding a way to move forward through the field. Atomic is the only track in Henry's career that has two or more appearances and has not finished a heat or main on the positive side of the +/- column.
Kokomo Speedway - 5/8 & 5/9
You'll want to "get your ass to Kokomo" at the start of May for a doubleheader of Indiana bullring action. The two-day event will be co-sanctioned with High Limit Racing with $10,000-to-win on Friday and $15,000-to-win to cap it off Saturday night. Henry has one career appearance at the famed quarter mile back in 2024 that saw a C-Main exit with High Limit. The key to success? Stop if you've heard this before, qualifying better. Henry qualified 18th in Flight A previously at Kokomo but the real story is in his 12 prior High Limit appearances across the Midwest. Henry has qualified in the top ten just twice, with one of those instances resulting in a heat win, dash appearance, and subsequent fifth place finish in the A-Main.
Fremont Speedway - 5/12, 6/19, 9/18, & 9/19
If there was a track on the schedule you should circle knowing you'll see fireworks, the "Track that Action Built" would be the one. Henry, the 2024 Fremont Speedway 410 Track Champion, has 27 career 410 appearances and has never missed an A-Main*. Henry's 7 career victories lead all tracks for 410s and is second overall to just Placerville (8 wins in a 360). Henry makes his money in the heat races at the semi-banked 1/3 mile, where Henry has a winning percentage of 39%. More impressively, Henry has only gone backwards in his heat one time, on May 27th, 2024, against the World of Outlaws where Henry went from first to second. Overall, Henry holds a +/- of 34 in heat race action. The key to success? Converting in the dash, where Henry has improved his position in just two of five appearances. Both instances resulted in a podium finish with one victory and a third-place finish.
*Editor's Note: Kalib competed at Fremont Speedway during AFCS action on April 25th. The event marked the first time Kalib failed to make the A-Main following a blown engine while leading the B-Main. This preview was written prior that event.
Michael Mercer Raceway - 5/23 & 10/2
The first PA trip of the All Star schedule takes place on May 23 when the series travels to Michael's Mercer Raceway. Henry has just two prior appearances, both with the All Stars, at the western Pennsylvania dirt track. Both previous trips resulted in a top five finish. Henry claimed a quick time at the June All Star event and a heat win during the tour's September visit. The key to success? Much like Atomic, finding a way to move forward throughout the entire night. Henry's only position loss occurred during the September event's dash, but the defending series champion has only passed one car in feature action across both starts.
Wayne County Speedway - 5/24, 6/15, 9/5, & 9/6
Kryptonite for Superman or Spiderman's overwhelming emotional vulnerability, each superhero has a weakness. For Kalib Henry, that's Wayne County. The 3/8th mile, paperclip shaped oval hasn't treated the California native kindly. In four career appearances, Henry has just a single top ten, an average finish of 15th, and in his first appearance at the track, an incident in qualifying removed the No. 101 from competition for the rest of the night. The key to success? Getting comfortable and getting consistent from the very first lap at speed. Henry has a +/- of 7 in three heat races and 16 in the two features he has finished at "The County," so passing cars isn't an issue. Bad qualifying and equipment failures have done the most damage. Limiting those two things could propel Henry to top of the leaderboard in 2026.
Lawrenceburg Speedway - 5/29
The Burg and sprint cars have seemingly become part of the Memorial Day weekend traditions. For the 2026 edition, the All Stars will join High Limit for the second of their two co-sanctioned weekends. Both of Henry's appearances at the high-banked Indiana oval have been with High Limit Racing. As mentioned earlier, Henry took home a top five finish on May 31st with High Limit while his second trip wasn't as kind, culminating in a 16th place finish. The key to success? Capitalize in the heat race where Henry's top five finish followed a second to first heat race effort and a trip to the dash. Henry went third to fifth in his second trip before going 15th to 16th in the feature.
Williams Grove Speedway - 6/5
It'll be an All Stars versus the PA Posse affair in June when the series travels to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania's Williams Grove Speedway. Henry has just a single prior start at the big half mile which took place during the All Star's 2025 visit. After qualifying 11th in his group, Henry gained four spots in a 6th to 2nd drive in the heat race before advancing from 16th to 11th in the feature. The key to success? You guessed it, qualifying. Henry's speed in the eastern part of the Keystone State has been on display in racing action but with a format that places such importance on qualifying, missing the mark early gives a steep hill to climb against some of the country's toughest locals.
Lincoln Speedway - 6/6
The checkered will fall on Williams Grove, and the team will make the 40-minute drive south on 194 to Lincoln Speedway for the finale of the posse swing. Unlike Williams Grove, Henry was qualified 4th at Lincoln in 2025, won his heat race, and was running in the top five before a parts failure relegated him to a 27th place finish. The key to success? Truthfully, we're not sure if there is one here. If Henry can repeat last year's effort minus the parts failure, the workings for a Posse upset are there.
Sharon Speedway - 6/13 & 8/29
Ohio Speedweek will bring the first of two appearances for Sharon Speedway. The Blaney owned facility on the Ohio/PA border appears on Henry's resume twice, both coming in 2024 against the World of Outlaws and FAST on Dirt competition respectively. Henry took home an 11th place finish against the Outlaws and a crash in the heat race ended the team's effort against FAST. The key to success? Improving heat race results. Henry qualified 6th against the Outlaws before losing position in his heat race, where he is -7 in his two visits, the lowest +/- out of any Ohio track for heat race action.
Millstream Speedway - 6/14
Round three of Ohio Speedweek takes Henry to one of the biggest question marks of the season, Millstream. Henry's sole prior visit to the recently reopened 4/10th mile came during the 2025 edition of Ohio Speedweek where he brought home a 10th place finish after starting 7th. Henry was strong early, qualifying 3rd before finishing 3rd in his heat, just missing out on the dash. The key to success? Qualifying for the dash. Three of Henry's four All Star wins in 2025 came following a dash appearance.
Eldora Speedway - 6/16
Ask Kalib Henry for a track he loves racing at and he'll say Eldora is in his top three. While making just two appearances at the famed half mile in 2025, Henry boasts a total of eight career appearances at the Big E. Henry's career best at the track is a third during last year's edition of Ohio Speedweek, which saw a spirited charged from 12th in the closing laps. The key to success? Nothing is more important at a big, fast half mile than qualifying good. In seven qualifying attempts at Eldora, Henry has an average qualifying position of 17th, the second worst average result behind Knoxville Raceway. After his charge during Ohio Speedweek last year, starting just a couple positions further ahead could make all the difference between pulling into the trailer or victory lane.
Waynesfield Raceway Park - 6/18 & 10/3
There's a California feel when you visit Waynesfield. The high-banked quarter-mile dirt oval is frequently juiced up and builds a ledge that's made the place a true "Field of Dreams." Henry has three prior visits to Waynesfield, two of them last year with the All Stars, where he averages a A-Main finish of 10th. The full story however paints a slightly different view. Henry has qualified in the top five twice, boasts a +/- of 4 in heat race action that includes a heat and dash win, and his only finish outside the top ten during A-Main action was an 18th place finish. That finish came after Henry clipped a tractor tire while running second during Ohio Speedweek 2025. The key to success? Limiting mistakes as the night progresses. Despite showing speed during each prior visit, mistakes have been the difference maker. Theoretically, had Henry finished no worse than fifth during last year's Ohio Speedweek event, he would have an average finish of 5.6 which would top all tracks with three or more starts.
Hartford Speedway - 7/31
They say Disney World is magical, Kalib Henry would probably say the same about Hartford. Henry has just one start at the western Michigan facility, but he made the most of it and then some during the All Star's 2025 visit. Following his terrifying crash at Attica just two weeks earlier, Henry was a bridesmaid all night till it came down to when it mattered most and he made himself the bride. Following second place qualifying effort, second place heat race finish, and another second place finish in the dash, Henry claimed the top spot of podium during the A-Main. The key to success? Repeat last year's effort.
Stateline Speedway - 8/7 & 8/8
Expanding from one night to two for 2026, Stateline Speedway's unique paperclip design will challenge the series once more. Henry's only visit came during the All Star's visit in 2025 where he qualified second before driving from fourth to first in his heat race. Unfortunately, however, momentum stalled out in the dash and Henry was only able to advance from sixth to fifth in the feature. The key to success? Capitalize early and find a way to start as up front as possible. Stateline's unique shape and surface creates new challenges and with limited starts at the New York track, Henry can make life a little easier with a front row starting spot.
I-96 Speedway - 8/21
Staying in the "Great Lakes State," I-96 returns to the schedule and is one track that Henry has circled on his calendar. That's cause his lone start at the revitalized 4/10th mile was cut short following a mechanical failure. This of course, occurring after Henry drove from 13th to the top five before the halfway point and was turning the fastest laps of the entire field prior to the failure. The key to success? It's a twofold key for I-96. Henry's 16th place qualifying effort had the team working from behind early but really, just crossing your fingers for mechanical reliability might be the more effective approach. Prior to the failure, Henry had a +/- of 11 on the night alone.
Butler Motor Speedway - 8/22
There's very little data to support any conclusion when it comes to taking on "The Fastest 3/8th Hi-Banked Dirt Track." Henry will make his first ever career visit to the Quincy, Michigan track when the All Stars make their visit the next night after I-96. From the surface, the track appears to be a good fit for Henry. That impression is even better when of Henry's four All Star victories in 2025, three of them came at track's he was visiting for the very first time. The key to success? Just show up and race.
Freedom Motorsports Park - 8/28
The 18th and final track that will see an All Star visit in 2026 is the return of Freedom Motorsports Park. Henry is familiar with the New York based 1/3rd mile oval where he utilized his outside pole starting position to drive to his final All Star victory of 2025. The key to success? Carry last year's momentum. Henry qualified fifth, won his heat, and drove from fourth to second in the dash enroute to his 2025 victory. On paper, there's no weak spot, but the picture will become clear as the season progresses, and Henry revisits the track in 2026.
