Henry Lights the Fireworks at Fremont; High Limit and Outlaws on Deck

FREMONT, Ohio (July 6, 2026) - On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere rode through the dark of night warning the Patriots of the British's advance ahead of the American Revolution. Just a year later, the Thirteen Colonies had claimed their independence and the United States of America as we know it was born. Fast forward 250 years and you could hear "Kalib Henry is coming! Kalib Henry is coming!" As the 2024 Fremont Speedway and 2025 All Star champion pulled into the pits for Attica Fremont Championship Series action at "The Track That Action Built" for Independence Day weekend action.

Following a rainout Friday night at Attica Raceway Park, Henry and the Racers for Life No. 101 made the two and a half mile drive from the team's shop to Fremont Speedway on Saturday. Paul Revere rode for approximately 15 miles on that faithful night, but he'd need 899 more horses if he wanted to keep up with the 26-year-old Sacramento, California native. Henry went wire-to-wire to claim his third overall victory of 2026 inside his Valvoline, All Star Performance, FK Rod Ends, Rider Racing Engines, Triple J Towing, West River Trailer Sales & Service machine. 

The Battle of Bunker Hill served as an early hurdle in the road against the Patriots on their path to victory. Similarly, a comparison could be drawn to Saturday's qualifying when Henry got over the cushion in turn three and four coming to the green flag. Despite being able to keep it rolling, a caution was thrown as Cap Henry was coming down the backstretch for his first of two timed laps. The duo went on to successfully complete their qualifying laps but due to Kalib drawing a caution while Cap was on a timed lap, the No. 101 entry was relegated to just its first lap which placed Kalib eighth on the scoring pylon.

Kalib's woes in qualifying came with a silver lining when he would fire from the outside of the front row in the second heat race. Remember, while the Battle of Bunker Hill was deemed a loss, the Patriots inflicted grave damage to the British forces that set them up perfectly to rally to victory. Do you see where we're going with this? When the green flew in heat race action, Henry made quick work of pole sitter Stuart Brubaker and drove to a heat race victory over Cap and Brubaker. 

Following qualifying and heat races, Henry had found himself fourth in the night's point standings. That's when Fremont's own version of the Treaty of Alliance (and Treaty of Amity and Commerce for those keeping historical notes), the feature invert dice roll, gave Henry the final boost he would need as it landed on a four; putting the current All Star points leader on the pole.

Henry and TJ Michael would lead the field to the green as the sun began to set off the banking of turn three. Henry would get the jump and begin to pull away. Third place starter, Bryce Lucius, moved into second and began to challenge Henry for the lead when the caution would fly for Gage Etgen who would slow for a flat left rear tire. From there, it was a modern day Siege of Yorktown, as Henry cruised to victory, securing the win over Cap Henry, Lucius, Darin Naida, and Michael. 

"It's great to get this win with Doc here and to celebrate the greatest country in the world's 250th birthday." Said Henry in victory lane. The Racers for Life team now turns their sights onto what has been deemed "the second Ohio speedweek" by many as High Limit Racing comes to Fremont on Monday, July 13th followed the next night by the World of Outlaws at Attica for the Brad Doty Classic. From there, it's four straight nights of racing at Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway with High Limit's Double Down Duels and Joker's Jackpot on Wednesday and Thursday. The week culminates with the World of Outlaw's The Knight Before the Royal and the 43rd running of the Kings Royal on Friday and Saturday.
