Back to Defend: Henry Set to Chase Back-to-Back All Star Titles

FREMONT, Ohio (January 26, 2026) - When Kalib Henry looks back on his 2025 racing season, the 26-year-old Sacramento, California native can't help but grin. Despite the summer, which some could compare to an emotional roller coaster, Henry bounced back and drove his Racers for Life No. 101 machine to four All Star Circuit of Champions victories and a Driver's Championship by year's end. The rising talent returns to the All Stars in 2026 to defend his crown.

Henry also looks to take his Butlerbuilt Seats, Pub 400, Triple J Towing, FK Rod Ends, Factory Kahne Shocks, West River Trailer Sales, Harris Distributing, C&H Veteran Enterprises machine to the top of the Owner's Championship after finishing just 13 points behind eventual champion, Rudzik Racing.

The news comes shortly after Henry piloted the Corey Joyner owned No. 27X to a D-Main on Championship Saturday during this year's Chili Bowl Nationals. The week also saw Henry compete in famous Race of Champions and qualify for the A-Main Feature on his respective qualifying night.

"It's challenging to go from running a winged sprint car all year to just a single week in a midget," Henry noted. "You'll obviously always want to do better, but you also have to look at where you're at. To even make the D-Main on Saturday is a big deal. Getting an invite to the Race of Champions is a big deal." Time behind the wheel is what Henry feels will help going into the 2026 season. "Being able to turn some laps no matter what car you're in is good. It helps get you back into the swing of things so I'm excited to get winged season started soon."

With a full season now under their belt, Henry and crew chief Andy Potter feel they're firing on all cylinders. "We struggled at the start of last year, mostly with qualifying, and that hurt us early in the year. We didn't panic though. Anytime you work with a new crew chief or crewmember, it can take some time to fully vibe together." Henry now believes they're in their groove. "Outside of some mechanical woes, we finished the year really strong. I trusted Andy's magic and he trusted my driving. That's when things really start to take off and we're carrying that over to 2026."

The All Star Circuit of Champions will kick their season off on April 10th and 11th at Attica Raceway Park. Highlights of the 2026 schedule include a co-sanctioned, two-day event with High Limit Racing at Kokomo Speedway in early May, an eastern Pennsylvania swing to start June, Ohio Speedweek, and the Jim Ford Classic at Fremont Speedway September 18th and 19th.

Henry and company will fill in openings on the schedule with various events in the Midwest to include World of Outlaws, High Limit Racing, Attica Fremont Championship Series, and more.
